Job Description / Responsibility

1. Develops statistical surveys by designing data collection instruments, calculating sample sizes and selecting appropriate analytical procedures.

2. Conducts data analyses, and reports results associated with a research study, using SPSS, SAS, and other statistical analysis software. May use SPSS or other programming languages.

3. Summarizes statistical results of a research project by creating graphs, tables and charts. Interprets and conveys results to project leaders, principal investigators and/or outside agencies. Refines statistical models after consultation.

4. Designs ad hoc reports requested by administrators, for example an analysis of client workday and income data, the tabulation of gender and race/ethnicity of populations served, and comparison of study data with similar data from other institutions.

5. Advises other Data Analysts and principal investigators on the most appropriate statistical techniques to be used in particular projects.

6. Designs large datasets in conjunction with systems programmers.

7. Analyzing trends

8. Conveying complex information to people who may not be specialists

9. Liaising with colleagues

10. Working with Marketing Research related data

Bachelor/ Masters in Statistics, or relevant.

1. 1 to 4 year(s)

1. Familiar with Marketing Research

2. Should have expertise in 'SPSS Syntax'

3. Detail orientation is a must

4. Expertise in using Statistical software like SPSS/ Stata is a must

5. Minorities, Women and Handicapped persons are highly encouraged to apply

6. DO NOT apply if you are too weak in mathematics

Salary Range

Tk. 30000 - 50000
